GE 45136 Choice-Alert Wireless Alarm Siren

GE 45136 Choice-Alert Wireless Alarm Siren GE wireless alarm – Richard J. Dyga –
Delivery was very fast. The product did quit on me after two weeks, called GE about it. Customer service was very good. They had me send it back to be replaced, cost me .00 to send it back. I am still waiting for them to send it back, it is still in that reasonable time period.
I bought this 130-decibel siren to supplement the 120-decibel siren on the control center. It’s excellent. Both sirens sounding together are so incontinence-inducing and so painful that I can’t imagine any burglar would stick around trying to figure out how to disable the system. I have them in the same room, and because their two sounds aren’t entirely in sync, ear-piercing beats combine with the sounds of the sirens themselves and send my children running when I test the system.

If you want the neighbors alerted in the event of an intrusion, I’d recommend installing this extra siren outdoors in a dry spot–under a carport roof or beneath the boxing of a soffit; it mounts firmly with the included screws. General Electric: 45136 GE WIRELESS ALARM SYSTEM The GE 45136 Choice Alert Wireless Alarm Siren is an alarm that you can add to your Choice Alert Security system for greater sound coverage. It is ideal for larger homes, sheds, detached garages, business properties, or places where your Choice Alert Alarm cannot be heard. Featuring plug-and-play installation with no wiring required, the alarm siren communicates with your system’s Wireless Control Center, emitting a 130-decibel alarm when the security system has been breached.

Part of the GE Choice Alert Wireless Alarm System
The GE 45136 Alarm Siren is part of the GE Choice Alert Wireless Alarm System line of products. Cost-effective and easy to install, Choice Alert components offer wireless operation, multi-zone coverage, home and away settings, all-weather function, and expandability for complete home protection.

With wireless capabilities, Choice Alert products require no complicated wiring, drilling or expensive installation costs. And because they are designed to be part of a self-contained system, there are no monthly usage charges. System components are simple enough for anyone to use, and they can be combined to provide a customized blanket of protection over your entire property.

Wireless Control Center for Device Monitoring
The entire Choice Alert Security System is designed around the Wireless Control Center, the system’s hub. The Control Center monitors every sensor that is wirelessly connected to it. As many as four sensors can be programmed in each of four zones, giving you the security of up to 16 sensors to guard your entire home.

The Wireless Control Center allows you to secure your system with a custom four-digit code that can be changed at any time. Plus, the center lets you control many system features. For example, you can select ‘Home’ mode for an instant alarm and ‘Away’ mode for a delayed alarm. In addition to the armed alarm system, the Control Center also offers a visible and audible Zone Notification alert system (with a choice of continuous alert or single chime mode) and a dedicated alert zone (Zone 4). The center wirelessly transmits and receives signals up to 150 feet.

Additionally, the Wireless Control Center features a low-battery indicator that will alert you when battery power is low in a specific zone, so you’ll know exactly when to replace the batteries in every one of your components.

Combine Components for Total Home Coverage
To complement the Alarm Siren, there are several components available for use with the Wireless Control Center, including a door/window sensor, motion detector, water leak sensor, signal repeater (for enhanced wireless range), garage door sensor, and Silent Alert LED indicator. Add up to 16 sensors and give yourself the peace of mind that only complete home protection can provide.

Greater Sound Coverage with No Wiring Required
The GE 45136 Choice Alert Alarm Siren adds a 130-decibel alarm to your system for greater coverage of your backyard, second or third floor, basement, garage, storage shed, and more. The Alarm Siren will operate within 150 feet of your Wireless Control Center, making it ideal for expansive areas of your home. And you can add as many Alarm Sirens to you Choice Alert Security System as you please.

Installation is easy thanks to the siren’s plug-and-play design–simply plug the Alarm Siren’s AC adapter into a standard electrical outlet, pair it with the Wireless Control Center, and mount it in wood or drywall using the included screws. The siren features battery backup for continual operation during a power outage and a battery-life indicator.

The GE 45136 Choice Alert Alarm Siren is backed by a one-year limited warranty.

Kohler Generators – For Emergency Residential and Commercial Power

Kohler makes all kinds of engines for various applications, including Kohler generators. They make both gas, diesel powered, and LP generators in different sizes, and power capacities (ranging from 8.5 to 2800 kW). In fact they make over sixty different models claiming to be reliable, exceptional motor starting and voltage recovery, that provide maximum power, are efficient, and good to serve both small load residential, and large load business applications.

While generators are a great standby source for residential energy in the event of an emergency, they are also a great back up as well to critical instances where power can be lost in business, and in large industry. Can you imagine what might happen in the event of a power outage without power to our hospitals for instance?

With regard to residential applications, in fact, you can have your electrician wire your home so that in the event of an emergency, you have an entirely separate electric panel that can easily be connected to Kohler generators during power outages. Many newer homes come standard with this feature. You may already have a home that is wired this way, and not even know it. To start, look to see how many electrical panels you have, and if you are unsure contact your builder, electrician, or realtor. If not, Kohler generators can also be used as standby power by hooking them up individually to whatever it is that you would like to power.

Whichever route you choose to go, having a generator for back-up power can help in the instance of any emergency. Generators can also serve for people who work in fields that often require that they provide their own power; whether it be a construction site, or a caterer, there are many people who rely on portable energy, and cannot do their jobs without them. They are also great for camping, special occasions, and more.

Upon purchasing any Kohler generators, if you have any issues with where to find replacement filters or parts, you can visit their easy to read website, and contact them as to how to find the nearest local dealers or suppliers to you. With regard to choosing the Kohler brand, you can have peace of mind that they build a good, strong, and reliable generator whose engine is strong, and trusted by many in all different fields, and in all different applications. That being said, the name Kohler is well known, and well trusted.

The End Result – How Patient Self-Service is the Way Forward

The most common questions to be asked are:

What will it cost and how will it benefit me?

The answer to this first question is variable, depending on what software and hardware package you opt for – how many machines, LCD displays, kiosks and/or wireless tablets etc. will be required. Some of the cost can be offset against the advertising revenue generated from selling advertisement space to the likes of pharmaceutical companies, through the media supplier. Also, some hardware suppliers may provide components, like the wireless tablets for free – if it can be displayed as a working model for promoting its digital signage properties and potential to other clients wanting to see it in action, in the work place.

The second part of the question can be answered in three parts:

  • A better patient experience – saving the patient time, a less frustrating check-in process, eliminating redundant questions and the need to re-submit previously answered questions. Patients are empowered by being able to view their own data at the interactive interview. Sophisticated, logical questions are asked and answered clearly using the device, prompting the patient to include relevant information not previously disclosed.

  • Providing a better quality of care – informed medical staff can provide informed medical care. This method of data capture has been shown to even save lives. A research project by Ohio State University, on teenagers returning after the summer break, used a touch screen self-service device to record data using real time and was able to identify those students who had suicidal tendencies. It used initial information in a triage format to ask appropriate questions in a way that was more likely to be answered honestly.

  • Lowering the margin of error – issues regarding the handling of data from various sources, like paperwork increases the risk of serious errors and mistakes, from illegible handwriting to misunderstood terminology. As the patient keys in the data first hand, there is less likelihood of errors.

Whilst achieving 100% accuracy, is ambitious, it is worth aiming for. Fewer errors mean improved patient safety, a smoother experience for patients and staff, fewer wasted hours – leading to saving valuable dollars and a more efficient health care organization.
